MarketingVOX: Some of the most popular videos on YouTube will have another chance to shine with the announcement of the video-sharing site’s first Video Awards.
Awards will be given out in seven categories, including most creative, most inspirational, best series, best comedy, musician of the year, best commentary and “most adorable video ever,” CTNow reports.
YouTube’s members can vote on nominees picked by the site through Friday. Winners will be announced on March 25.
The site hasn’t determined whether the awards will be held annually, but the reaction to this year’s awards will likely play a role in that decision.
