MarketingVOX: YouTube has added new features, including the capability to customize colors and content on personal profile pages, and a new TestTube area where users can experiment with new YouTube features.
The first offerings in TestTube focus on live chat and adding audio features to videos, Webware reports. AudioSwap, for example, allows users to replace the audio in their videos with musical tracks from artists with whom YouTube has content distribution deals.
YouTube has also added video channels called Streams. These allow users to upload videos, then live-chat about the video as they watch it.
