Young Leaves Organic for VideoEgg

MarketingVOX: Organic’s chief experience architect has left the agency and joined a video startup as chief marketing officer.
Troy Young will join the VideoEgg consumer-generated video publishing platform, reports ClickZ. Organic will divide Young’s responsibilities (“creating exceptional experiences for clients”) among other executives, among them James Kim, now VP of strategy, and Chad Stoller, recently hired as executive director of emerging platforms.
At VideoEgg, Young will oversee revenue generation and transformation of the company into a media brand. “It’s an interesting time in the media world as media companies become platforms for consumer generated content,” he is quoted as saying. “We’re creating a platform at VideoEgg for consumers to create content and for advertisers to leverage it.”
