MarketingVOX: Casey Serin, a failed real estate speculator who maintains a blog at iamfacingforeclosure.com is threatening to sue his critics and claims to be hiding in Australia, reports ZDNet.
Arguably the world’s most-hated blogger, 24-year-old Serin’s blog is popular in great part because a huge group of readers he calls his “haterz,” users frequent the blog to lay ridicule on Serin’s many misfortunes – from marital strife and unemployment, to owing creditors up to $420,000.
The latest scuffle with the haterz was over a contract with an “independent publisher” to write self-help material on foreclosure. A confidential business plan for Serin’s website, as well as related audio files that were not password protected, have since been mirrored and mocked on multiple Internet websites. As a result, Serin is seeking legal action.
“We’ve been letting everything go for so long, people think they can just do this without any penalties,” Serin wrote.
