MediaBuyerPlanner: Univision’s broadcast of the Mexico v. Argentina World Cup soccer match on Saturday, June 24 drew 6.7 million viewers, including 4.3 million in the 18-49 demo, Mediaweek reports. Including the Super Bowl, it was the largest sports telecast ever among Hispanic viewers.
The game, which aired in the late morning in the U.S., was also the fifth most watched broadcast of any type on Spanish-language television.
