MediaBuyerPlanner: Whoopi Goldberg will be joining ABC’s The View as moderator, taking the place of Rosie O’Donnell who left the show in May.
Goldberg will begin her stint behind the desk after Labor Day, joining Barbara Walters, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Joy Behar on the show, according to ABC News.
ABC is expected to name a replacement for the other vacant seat perhaps as early as today.
