Where Steve Harvey Goes, American Airlines Will Follow


MarketingVOX: American Airlines has signed on to advertise wherever in the media universe comedian Steve Harvey is, reports MediaWeek.
The airline signed a deal with The Steve Harvey Show, the comedian’s syndicated radio show, that deeply integrates the brand into the programming.
Not only will American advertise on Harvey’s national show; they will also launch co-branded website featuring travel tips and information. The Steve Harvey Show website will also sport American Airlines ads and the company will be integrated into actual show content.
The deal was worked out via GlobalHue, which handles American Airlines African-American-targeted advertising efforts. It puts the airline in the top five advertisers on Harvey’s show, though financial details were not disclosed.
