Warner Bros. Launches Mobile Mystery Campaign for ‘Nancy Drew’


MediaBuyerPlanner: Warner Bros. is launching two mobile campaigns that will engage users in quizzes and mystery challenges to tout the release of its upcoming film Nancy Drew.
The movie site, which offers information about the film, as well as a trailer and an upcoming blog from the lead character, also includes a mobile phone graphic that asks visitors to send a real phone call from Nancy Drew, writes ClickZ.
A pre-recorded call from the actress who plays Nancy Drew, personalized by the user, can be sent to a landline or cell phone, and a message can be left if voicemail answers.
The site also includes a mystery text game where participants can opt in to receive trivia questions via text messaging.
Warner Bros. used Vibes Media for the campaign.
