MediaBuyerPlanner: It’s official: Wal-Mart has invited shops to re-pitch in another review of its $570 million account.
The retailer has once again engaged Select Resources International to manage the review, and has asked finalists from the first review – GSM&M, Ogilvy & Mather and the Martin Agency, along with media agency Carat – to participate, writes Adweek.
Carat won the media account in the first review, along with creative agency DraftFCB. Draft was dethroned last week following the departure of Wal-Mart exec Julie Roehm, who had handled the review internally. The creative shop was not invited to re-pitch.
