MediaBuyerPlanner: Vibe Media Group is folding the female counterpart to Vibe magazine, Vibe Vixen. The August/September issue will be its last as a regularly published title.
Beginning in the fourth quarter, Vibe Vixen will be published as a special issue focusing on urban culture themes, though frequency of those issues has not yet been determined, writes Mediaweek.
The move comes less than two weeks after Steve Aaron was named CEO of Vibe Media Group.
