MarketingVOX: Long Beach, Calif.-based Grupo Gallegos will handle all Hispanic online initatives for Target – the first Hispanic interactive assignment from the chain store.
Prior to hiring Grupo Gallegos, Target worked with New York-based shop OLE, also on a project basis, for its hispanic marketing, reports AdWeek.
Last week, Grupo Gallegos dropped out of the $50 million Wal-Mart Hispanic review, in which it was a finalist along with Austin, Texas-based LatinWorks, Coral Gables, Fla.-based Accentmarketing and incumbent Lopez Negrete of Houston.
