Target Adds In-Store Kiosks for Wish-List Creation

MediaBuyerPlanner: Target is adding in-store kiosks that allow shoppers to create wish lists that they can then share with family and friends. The lists can be printed out at any Target Store.
Shoppers can add specific information about an item to the comments section, offer details such as color choices in the message section, and write notes about whether the item is available online or in-store, according to MediaPost.
Those creating lists can choose from pre-selected list categories, including birthday, graduation, new home and holidays.
The move is likely an attempt to draw holiday shoppers and list-makers during a season that is predicted by the National Retail Federation to gain just 4 percent over last year (below the ten-year average growth of 4.8 percent).
