Survey: Online Ad Budgets to Increase 20 Percent

MarketingVOX: Online marketing budgets are expected to increase 20 percent in 2006, according to a survey of marketers, 45 percent of whom also cited rich media as the fastest-growing online ad format.
Some 64 percent of respondents to the William Blair & Company and Chicago Interactive Marketing Association survey also did not identify click fraud as a major long-term threat to search engine marketing, reports iMedia Connection. Moreover, 69 percent of marketers said Google is the best-positioned search player; 22 percent cited Yahoo, with some enthusiasm expressed for its new ad platform, Project Panama.
