Starbucks Seekers Can Use Text Messaging to Find Stores

MarketingVOX: Coffee chain has made finding the nearest store location as simple as sending a text message according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.
The mobile initiative comes as Starbucks seeks to make it easier for people to locate the nearest place for a coffee fix. Searchers simply include their zip code in a text sent to MYSBUX and a list of stores will be returned. Mobile devices with an internet connection will be able to find the nearest store by visiting www.starbucks.com.
Starbucks has said the phone numbers of those sending text messages will not be stored by the company.
