MarketingVOX: With an Ofcom study having found that Brits over 50 spend 30 percent of their time online, a new social network has launched, aimed directly at them.
The Saga Zone launched with 13,000 members and a range of forum sections after a four-month long trial period, with an 87-year-old as its oldest member, according to BBC News.
The site was developed by the Saga Group, which specializes in products and services for the demographic.
In the US, boomer social networks like BOOMj and Eons emerged in the past year.
