MediaBuyerPlanner: Snowboard Magazine has entered into a long-term partnership with Storm Mountain Publishing Company, publisher of Freeskier Magazine, and will continue to publish issues for the upcoming 2006/2007 winter season and beyond.
The new arrangement comes just weeks after Snowboard announced that it would not be publishing its September issue due to financial constraints.
“This is an incredibly exciting opportunity,” said Fayfield. “As independent publishers, Mark and I have faced similar challenges competing against the corporate media giants. This union will allow us to work together to level the playing field and take our respective titles to entirely new levels.”
The number and frequency of the new season will be revealed shortly, along with updates on the progress of the partnership.
