(MarketingVOX) Scripps Networks is launching a trial phase of its second targeted broadband channel, HGTV BathDesign, which will go live at the beginning of May. Scripps’s first such channel, HGTV KitchenDesign, launched in January and has resulted in millions of video views, according to the company. The new channel will launch with nearly 200 streaming videos about bath innovations, design trends and room makeover tips from experts.
Scripps was among the early programmers of original broadband content, premiering a broadband exclusive on HGTV’s Dream Home Giveaway on HGTV.com three years ago. The new broadband channels together offer more than 500 videos and a suite of interactive tools, including an online designer that helps users draw up their existing or desired floor plan and populate it with their existing or desired appliances and features.
