MediaBuyerPlanner: Scion has added a radio channel to its internet broadcast website, Scion.com/Broadband. Scion Radio 17 will have 20 music stations that include Vice Radio (the audio arm of Vice magazine), club dance music, hip-hop, jazz-funk, and a station that features a new DJ each month, writes Brandweek.
Other channels from Scion Broadband include The Skinny (Scion commercials and other brand-related content), Shorts (short films from unknown filmmakers), Music, Spotlights and BB Goods (screensavers, wallpaper and icons).
The channel is a way for Scion to provide support for up-and-coming artists and to expose their music to people around the world, says Jeri Yoshizu, Scion sales promotions manager.
