MediaBuyerPlanner: With the goal of bringing fresh perspective to magazines that it considers on the brink of strong growth, Conde Nast is switching vp/publishers at two of its titles.
Giulio Capua of Gourmet and Amy Churgin of Architectural Digest will switch jobs effective immediately, each retaining their titles, writes Mediaweek. Capua came to Groumet from GQ in 2002. Churgin has headed Architectural Digest since 1999.
In 2006, Gourmet’s ad pages were up 6.95 percent, though they are down 5.9 percent this year through February. Architectural Digest’s ad pages were flat for 2006, and up 11.23 percent this year.
