MarketingVOX: Playboy has partnered with Quattro Wireless to launch a mobile site featuring non-nude photos and interviews of Playboy playmates, reviews and other features content.
Most of the content is synced to the Playboy website, which makes regular updates made possible by Quattro’s GetMobile platform, according to DM News.
In addition to the site, the Quattro platform handles ad sales, ad pages, and a dashboard to view site and ad metrics. AXE Vice Body Spray and Sony Home Pictures Entertainment have already signed on to advertise on the mobile site.
Quattro CEO Andy Miller says click-through rates on mobile ads are “ridiculously high,” stating even a poor campaign garners a 3 percent rate.
