MediaBuyerPlanner: Peak Broadcasting has agreed to purchase CBS Radio’s Fresno, Calif., stations for $90 million in cash.
Peak will begin programming the stations – which include News/Talk KMJ-AM, Talk KFPT-AM, Contemporary Hit Radio/Top 40 KWYE-FM, Country KSKS-FM, Adult Hits KFJK-FM, Regional Mexican KOQO-FM, and Rhythmic Oldies KMGV-FM – in December, writes Mediaweek.
After this sale, CBS Radio has only one market (Greensboro-Winston-Salem-High Point N.C.) left to sell in its strategy of divesting itself of stations in 10 markets.
