		<description>I&#039;m quite a non-user, I even got most of users few days ago (thx Ann :-)).
But I was a heavy IRC user 15 years ago, when major media didn&#039;t even know it exists.
If I dig into memory a bit, it seems like there&#039;s a lot of simmilar things regarding how people feel about it. Most popular channels/people were respected, yet might not be the smartest.
And there was a lot of spammers (less then now, since administrators were kicking them out :-)), a lot of unuseful chats and here and there some useful, nice talking.
I really don&#039;t see much difference. :-) Except of course the marketing value of twitter since network is much more developed currently.
