MarketingVOX: Toronto, the longtime center of the Facebook universe, has just been dethroned by London.
As of Monday, London declared nearly 810,000 Facebookers, while Toronto lagged behind with a mere 705,000, according to The Globe and Mail.
Canada has seen a massive surge in Facebook participation since the social networking destination opened its membership beyond university students.
As of June 2007, 11.4 million Canadians logged on, compared with just 343,000 the year previous. Facebook’s Canadian faction continues to grow at 4 percent a day.
