MediaBuyerPlanner: Kodak has signed a long-term deal to become the exclusive supplier of consumer and souvenir photo products and services to U.S. Six Flags parks, and will jointly market the Six Flags brand.
Beginning in the 2007 operating season, Kodak will implement new marketing and promotional initiatives in relation to its new alliance with Six Flags, writes Brandweek. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The in-park strategy will include Kodak picture kiosks in each park offering digital products and services to visitors. At selected parks, guests will be able to send ride photos as email or text messages to their digital devices.
Other marketing plans include the offering of Six Flags tickets as part of Kodak’s Santa Mall holiday photo program and Six Flags promotional offers in select photo processing packages distributed by Kodak at its locations within a 150-mile radius of Six Flags parks.
There is also an email element.
Six Flags owns and operates 30 parks in North America, including 15 of the country’s largest.
