JAJAH to Bring Ad-Supported VoIP to the Masses

MarketingVOX: A company called JAJAH is addressing the possibility of ad-supported VoIP by improving the ease with which carriers and callers can jump aboard.
JAJAH offers phone credit to callers enabling them to opt in to ads through a partnership with Oridian, an ad network that targets international internet users, reports Ars Technica.
Intel and Deutsche Telekom are also on board.
JAJAH dubbed the user-targeted ads “AdWords for the phone.” The company alsodeveloped an ad system that overlays audio recording while a call is connecting, so messages will not interrupt callers when they’re connected.
Additionally, carriers will be able to use JAJAH’s platform to monetize their inventory.
An ad-supported mobile service called Blyk launched in the UK recently, but the service is demographically limited.
