MarketingVOX: Women’s site iVillage has launched a new web channel, iVillage Total Health. The new health-oriented channel will pull content from two existing iVillage properties, Healthology and HealthCentersOnline, MediaWeek reports.
The new site is aimed at mothers who are responsible for their family’s health care needs and already regularly turn to iVillage. “As the number-one online destination for women, iVillage’s audience is accustomed to serving as their family’s chief health officer,” said iVillage president Deborah Fine.
NBC-Universal plans to promote the launch of iVillage Total Health on the Today Show as well as on the recently launched syndicated series iVillage Live.
