MarketingVOX: Women’s information site iVillage has taken the wraps off iVillage Connect, a new social-networking platform, according to MediaWeek.
On the network women can create bio pages, including pictures, blogs and more. They will also be able to gather in groups they create.
The Connect network is meant, at least in part, to serve as an updated version of the site’s active message board community. The conversation leaders from those boards were chosen to test out and help ramp up the Connect platform.
