I do have to say, I have thought of writing a book before. The motivation was always mostly because it would be a really satisfying experience to write a book. More so if people actually read it. :-) I would think that even if the marketing benefits were cut and dry, it would be hard to motivate unless you had a real passion for writing the book. Writing a book would be like running a marathon, you would have to maintain your motivation even when the going got tough. Great work on this study!
