MediaBuyerPlanner: Yet another way to reach a lucrative and much-sought-after demographic – golfers on the green – has become available to advertisers, with the advent of ad space on non-rotating hubcaps on the wheels of golf carts.
Static Media Group created the discs that attach to the wheels, writes MediaPost. The company has a ten-course network of “cart-wheels” in Atlanta and will soon have networks in Tampa Bay, Houston and southern California. There are roughly 70 carts per course.
