I was at an event last week for business owners. The moderator of a panel discussion asked the audience, "How many people are doing business internationally?" a couple of hands in the audience were raised. The second question the moderator asked, "How many people have a website?" Almost all in the audience raised their hands. The moderator then said, "The www in your domain name means world wide web. So all of you are doing business internationally".
This is so true and so many times people don't realize the impact that the Internet has on their business. Especially when it comes to marketing their companies. Companies need to think out of the box and try new things to market their companies. The Internet is key. It is a way to differentiate your company from the others.
Even politicians are realizing the impact of the Internet. It is a fast, inexpensive way to get the message out to literally anyone in the world.
The Internet provides a level playing field for all businesses. If a company's website is professional and easy to navigate it will be difficult for someone to determine how large or small your company is.
I agree Google yourself and see what information appears.
Great article!
