MediaBuyerPlanner: The Home Depot will be the presenting sponsor of ESPN’s College GameDay show for three more years.
The show will continue to be called ESPN College GameDay Built By The Home Depot, Brandweek reports. Household ratings for GameDay last season were up 18 percent over 2004.
The Home Depot will be branded on the main desk of the set, and the deal also includes commercial spots and a series of Home Depot-sponsored features during programming, which will extend across ESPN.com, ESPN Radio, ESPN Wireless, ESPN Podcenter for College GameDay Podcast, and ESPN, The Magazine. The Home Depot will also continue its sponsorship of The Home Depot College Football Awards Show on the network.
