I moved across the country at the very end of last year and spent almost 4 months looking for a job, any job, in my new town. After all of the emails, faxes, interviews, and dealing with scam recruitment ads I was starting to give up hope. One serendipitous day in March I was offered three jobs in one week and was able to pick the one that I felt was the best fit for me and I love it.
Stick to it people, you never know what’s in store right around the corner!

How funny, I remember both those posters you referenced the ‘hang in there cat’ and the ‘keep on trucking’ what a trip down memory lane. I needed that
As for the WD-40, I he had 39 failed attempts, but what does the WD stand for? If he were to invent that product to day maybe he would have called it the WTF-40. I am sorry if that offended anyone, I was just being naughty and before I knew it the keyboard acted on my thought.

Paul, as a woman, I didn’t mind that women weren’t mentioned. I think it’s a given that we have it. And what can you say? When you’ve got it, you’ve got it.
This is a well-written post. It is always encouraging to here of people’s determination and success. Their words of wisdom can inspire us to keep going, keep trying, keep failing, and keep moving forward. Thanks for the words of optimism.

Although… quite frankly… I think women are born with a sticktoitivity-gene…
