MediaBuyerPlanner: In a partnership with the host of ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Hachette Filipacchi is releasing a one-time special-interest shelter magazine, titled Ty Pennington At Home.
The one-time issue comes from Hachette’s Woman’s Day Special Interest Publications and will have an initial distribution of 650,000, writes Mediaweek. Hachette plans to publish the magazine quarterly next year.
The timing of the release – it hits the stands May 15 – is slightly awkward, in light of the fact that Ty Pennington was arrested over the weekend for a DUI charge.
