Google Will Run Search on Your Site for Just $100

MarketingVOX: Google is offering to provide search services to smaller websites for just $100 a years, reports The Associated Press.
Google’s overture to small site operators is a move to increase its already dominant share of the search market.
The reduced price could lure webmasters and companies who can’t afford the thousands – up to hundreds of thousands – of dollars Google’s current enterprise search solutions can cost.
Sites that adopt Google’s “Custom Search Business Edition” will be able to block ads from appearing within results generated through the service. A free version of the custom search tool that does display ads has been available since late last year.
To search up to 5,000 pages, Google charges a $100 annual fee. For up to 50,000 pages that goes up to $500 a year.
By way of contrast, the existing “Google Mini” solution runs $1,995 a year.
