MarketingVOX: Google is ready to open up its new mobile search platform to all users, according to the official Google Blog. The company has been testing the new mobile search interface for a few weeks and is ready to take it to the masses.
Widgets can be added to the Google Mobile homepage that allow users to personalize their experience with relevant content. It has also enabled search to remember what location the user last searched from so that future results will be more relevant.
Moreover, a few clicks on something like a search for movie times will also enable users to buy tickes right from their mobile device.
Results from searches for content providers and media companies also will highlight those companies’ mobile-friendly sites, making the user experience that much easier.
