MarketingVOX: Nielsen/NetRatings reports (pdf) its May U.S. MegaView Search findings, ranking the top search providers by number of searches. An estimated 2.8 billion search queries were conducted at Google Search, or 49 percent of all search queries in May.
As usual, Yahoo and MSN were in second and third place in May, with 23 percent and 11 percent, respectively. The top 10 search providers consisted of Google, Yahoo, MSN, AOL, Ask.com, My Way, iWon, Dogpile.com, EarthLink, and SBC Yellow Pages.
