MediaBuyerPlanner: Gannett and the Tribune Co. have expanded their internet ties, with Gannett acquiring a 50 percent stake in the other company’s Metromix network of local entertainment websites.
Metromix, which operates websites in New York, Los Angeles, Baltimore, Orlando, South Florida and other markets, will start websites in 30 more markets, writes Bloomberg.
Gannett and the Tribune Co. are the two largest shareholders of CareerBuilder.com.
