MarketingVOX: Owner Elliot Krasnow and his company Netvertise were banned by the Federal Trade Commission from promoting and selling franchises or any other business opportunity, reports WebProNews.
The FTC says the company violated federal law by selling franchises for web design, promotion services and SEO software with false claims. Additionally, Netvertise must return $160,000 to its customers.
This isn’t the first time Krasnow was flagged by the FTC. In 1990, Krawnow made false claims about rare coins he was selling at the time. Krawnow was since required by law to disclose his past to Netvertise clients, but did not.
