Ford Edge Campaign Goes Mobile

MarketingVOX: Ford is taking its campaign for the Edge model to mobile devices according to ClickZ.
The application for the Edge campaign was designed by mobile firm Enpocket and will be supported by and SMS campaign designed to drive traffic to the mobile-friendly site. That site will feature video of the car in a variety of high-endurance challenges such as riding bridge cables and building ledges. Those videos will be thematically similar to the TV aspect of the campaign.
The campaign is a co-creation of Enpocket and Mindshare, Ford’s interactive media agency. It launched last year and preliminary results are favorable, largely in part, Enpocket says, because of the lack of rich media content available for mobile devices.
