MarketingVOX: Forbes.com on Wednesday announced the launch of a mobile version of its website.
The Forbes.com Mobile service is available to users of mobile handheld devices for free and features breaking news, search and stock quotes, among other offerings, writes Media Week. Microsoft Windows Mobile is the premiere Forbes.com Mobile sponsor. Mobile technology vendor Mdog.com developed the mobile version, which incorporates a mobile advertising engine that integrates sponsor images and interstitials.
Forbes.com Mobile can be accessed using any web-enabled mobile browser (both HTML and WAP). Mdog will also design the new mobile service for ForbesAutos.com, expected later this quarter.
A demo of the service for various types of handhelds is available on the Forbes mobile site.
