MarketingVOX: Facebook users can now email friends who aren’t on Facebook, thanks to a more powerful messaging function.
According to the Facebook blog, users can now use Facebook to send email, thus maintaining a connection with “stubborn” friends still not on the social network.
Facebook has been in the ongoing process of adding features designed to keep users logged on for longer periods, which may be a boon for advertisers but less so for the traditional white collar set. Recently Australian businesses reported a $4 billion loss in productivity on account of the social network.
