Evernote Is Now Public

I’ve been an Evernote beta tester for the couple months or so and I have to say — love it! I think of it as a box I carry around with me and anything I might want to keep — I toss in the box. In reality, I am clipping, dragging, e-mailing and pasting content into my Evernote account.

It’s easy to access, easy to upload, easy to search and easy to organize. It’s ability to capture just about any medium has turned it into my brain…but it is far better than my 45-year-old forget-just-about-everything brain.
If you haven’t already seen the demo video, here you go!

Drew – Are you using a Mac or PC?

  2. Ann,
I’m on a Mac. Some of the functionality is a little less on the Mac, but I still find it a very useful tool!

  3. Lewis Green says:

    Drew,
IE7 rejects lots of add-ons and plugins, causing users browser to freeze. Do you use IE7 or know anyone who does?

  4. Paul Chaney says:

Apparently, the Evernote add-on for Firefox doesn’t work with FF3. At least that’s what it appears.

  5. Lewis — I don’t do IE7 (Mac, remember!) but don’t forget that this is both a browser based tool and a desktop tool.
I haven’t had any trouble with freezing.

  6. Paul,
According to a blog post on their site from Wednesday, they do now support FF3.

  7. Barbara Phillips Long says:

The terms of service stipulations are pretty daunting.
The video shows personal information, like the shot of the ticket and passport, but as I read the terms of service, if private information is made public, Evernote claims to have no responsibility.
