Loved this post. All we Gen Y's ask for is for teams to work together, communicate fully, and to keep us in the loop! We like to see the big picture and have a visual into everything that is going on. We grew up multi-tasking, we can take it!

The more open and fluid organization can be up front to their "Gen-Y's", the better they can get something done quickly and perfected. If you bring them in last minute expecting them to know what you want (without keeping them in the loop over the past month as you had meetings with other teams), don't expect their best.

Invite the new Gen-Y into your meetings - there is a good chance they'll disrupt your normal process for getting something done, but it may be for the better in the long run! And you may even learn something new!

We are not the experts.. YOU are! Teach us something - we aren't all arrogant and know we can learn from the folks that have been doing this for years :)
