MediaBuyerPlanner: A new memorial will be built in Washington, D.C., and the Disabled Veterans’ Life Memorial Foundation has raised $7.5 million in pledges in the first quarter to cover pre-construction and construction costs via direct mail.
The DM campaign has assured 877,000 donors, with many of those donors pledging more than one time, for a total of 1.5 million contributions, writes Direct Magazine. The foundation, which had an operating budget of $2.3 million for the first quarter, hopes to get to 1 million donors.
