MarketingVOX: Always controversial advertiser Diesel is using global warming as the theme for its latest ad campaign, reports fashion.psfk.
Instead of focusing merely on the clothes, the Italian fashion brand emphasizes the background locations. Scenes show a world completely altered by global warming – rising temperatures and sea levels have brought Manhattan and Mount Rushmore underwater.
The campaign can be viewed at the Diesel website, which the company has branded “Global Warming Ready.” Diesel is also partnering with stopglobalwarming.org to get people involved.
