MediaBuyerPlanner: Two Detroit papers are offering advertisers the option to run click-to-call ads online.
The Detroit Free Press and the Detroit News have launched click-to-call options for advertisers to run on their banner ads, writes Editor & Publisher. Once a reader clicks on a banner ad, they can speak directly with a call center, marketing or sales rep. Advertisers pay for the calls at rates lower than most local calls.
Software Innovations Inc. of Ann Arbor, Mich., is providing the platform.
