MediaBuyerPlanner: Beijing expects that some four billion people will watch the 2008 Olympics on television – one billion more than the number that watched the Athens Games in 2004, according to the Beijing Olympics Dissemination Corporation (via Reuters).
China said earlier this year that it would launch two satellites this year, dedicated to broadcasting Olympic TV and radio coverage.
