MarketingVOX: David Eastman is stepping down as CEO of Agency.com less than a year into his tenure, reports AdWeek.
Chairman and founder Chan Suh will serve as interim CEO as Eastman transitions to the shop’s international expansion, which he will oversee, a newly created position at the firm.
International efforts were among Eastman’s priorities during his time as CEO, opening a number of European and Asian offices. Before becoming CEO, Eastman ran Agency.com’s London office.
Prior to Eastman, Don Scales served as CEO before leaving to start his own agency, where he was later joined by former Agency.com CFO Mike Jackson. The CFO position is expected to be filled by former TBWA\Chiat\Day finance director Rob Elliot.
