MediaBuyerPlanner: CBS Radio – the first major radio broadcaster to sign with the PPM – has also become the first broadcaster to be assigned a dedicated, in-house PPM trainer to educate advertisers on the use of PPM data for their sales efforts, writes Radio Ink.
Arbitron’s Jon Miller will take on the newly created position of CBS Radio PPM account manager. Miller, along with a fiver-person PPM Implementation team, will provide hands-on PPM training to CBS Radio.
An in-house trainer will provide CBS Radio the insight it needs to harness the benefits of the PPM ratings data through the transition phase, Scott Herman, evp of Easter Radio for CBS Radio, is quoted as saying. “An in-house trainer will provide CBS Radio with insight to harness the benefits of the PPM ratings data through the transition phase,” he says. That way, “clients will be able to make better informed and therefore more confident investments with radio.”
