(MediaBuyerPlanner) CBS Radio’s Chicago operations announced a new executive structure with new positions for Rod Zimmerman, Gabe Tartaglia, Peter Bowen and Dave Robbins, Radio Ink writes.
“We have assembled an extraordinary lineup of executive management in Chicago driven to produce outstanding results for CBS Radio,” said Les Hollander, senior vice president and regional manager for CBS Radio.
Starting May 1, Zimmerman – who currently serves as SVP and market manager of CBS Radio Chicago and VP/GM of WBBM-AM – will take over GM duties for Free-FM (WCKG-FM). Gabe Tartaglia has been promoted to director of sales and will retain his current position with WUSN.
Starting April 17, Bowen – who currently oversees B-96 (WBBM-FM) and serves as director of sales for the seven CBS Radio Chicago stations – will take over as vice president and general manager of Jack-FM (WJMK-FM).
As the director of digital programming, Robbins will focus on CBS Radio’s HD initiatives, while the national development of HD 2 formats continues.
